My Night Sky Nail Art

I am not very fond of galaxy nails or night sky nails quite frankly. I have read various tutorials to get the look but the process always seemed tedious to me 😦 . Its the worth and liking towards a particular pattern/design that pushes you to take that extra mile to get them on your nails. But here, as you can see I am not very inclined towards galaxy nails with sponging and coloring and drawing stars and stuff (no offense to any one who likes it, this is my personal opinion) .

So my latest haul from US (through a friend) left me with more glitter polishes than I could know how to use. As I also mentioned in my previous posts, I am not fond of glitters 😦 . Looking for options to use them, I stumbled upon experimenting this and I am happy with the result.

I used Avon Royal Blue as the base color and wore it for a day. I had applied this polish in a running cab (don’t ask me how) . The cab driver turned back and gave me a look as soon as his nose caught the smell of the polish as I opened the bottle. He must be thinking how crazy girls can be πŸ˜› πŸ˜› . But quite frankly , I like such adventures and I would be rather called “Crazy” than “Boring”!! . I was wearing a blue dress and I needed my nails to fall in line. So it was more of necessity than adventure πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Anyways, since the polish was applied in a moving cab there was no top coat time and the finish was messy. I wore the embarrassment for a day and them decided to even out with a top coat. While I was about to pick up a top coat, I thought why not experiment?? And I picked up the ‘Sinful Color Nail Junkie’ . Good call, I must say.

It gave a blue and green glittery look to my nails. My nails looked richer and sparky now. It gave a very unique shade of blue, glitters with green undertones. It did not look like any ordinary polish available in market. My husband said it looked like a ‘Night Sky’ . Thats when I realized, I got the look which was not as great but very easy. So for a lazy person like me, this was a short cut to a nearly night sky.

Do you guys also think so? Do you like the polish? Please share your views, I love your comments πŸ™‚
